Arctic Cat ACT Drive Gear Set

Finally you can get the speed out of your ACT drive with these new gear sets. Cut from billet steel and heat treated for strength and durability. Many combinations available from ratios of 1.73 to 2.76, please contact us for recommendations. Gear sets come with both gears with shafts and are ready to bolt right in. Make sure to order new gear lube and seals when replacing gears. Made in USA.

Diamond Drive Gear Ratio Formula

This formula is to figure overall Diamond Drive ratio only, this does not take into consideration such variable as clutch diameter or driver size

The formula is as follows;

Transfer Gear / Input = A then A x 2.24 (Planetary Ratio)= Overall Diamond Drive Ratio

Example:

68/52 Gears. The 68 is the input gear (always listed first, clutch goes on this gear). The 52 is the transfer gear so….

52 / 68 = 0.764 x 2.24 = 1.71 Overall Diamond Drive Ratio

ACT Drive Oil Change Kit

Black Diamonds HPCO Lube Kit is a complete service kit for all Diamond (ACT) Drives. This lube kit uses superior synthetics that exceed OEM specifications to improve lubrication and reduce gear wear. Arctic Cat recommends changing the oil in your ACT drive at least once a season. This kit comes with the exact amount of high performance case oil, the correct gasket material, and the drain plug o-ring. Make sure to check bearing and seal condition when changing the oil.
